Teah is a plant ecologist with a keen interest in conservation and ecosystem restoration. She recently completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours), with her research project focussing on the effects of prescribed burning outside of the historic fire season on seedling germination. During her degree, Teah worked as a Casual Academic and ran workshops for bushfire, ecology, and sustainability units.
Teah has experience as a Research Assistant for the eXtreme Plant Ecology Research Team at Deakin University, assisting with alpine plant ecology labwork and fieldwork in Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, Victoria.
Teah is currently working as a Research Assistant with Blue Carbon Lab and is excited to work on projects involving coastal restoration.
