Kristian is an ecologist working at Deakin’s Blue Carbon Lab under Dr Wartman and Dr Malerba. His current focus is on determining biodiversity outcomes from management of both Blue and Teal Carbon systems. The research aims to provide a low-cost, scalable solution for monitoring biodiversity with reference to emerging natural capital accounting markets.
Kristian’s prior experience includes research on snakes in Queensland, cane toads and spinifex grass in New South Wales and threatened plants and animals in South Australia.
