Roshan is a spatial ecologist and Research Fellow at Deakin University’s Blue Carbon Lab. His current research focuses on quantifying carbon stock and sequestration rates in coastal ecosystems and evaluating how different management actions affect them.
More broadly, Roshan is interested in analysing and modelling land use and land cover changes, satellite remote sensing, and biodiversity conservation science, and addressing environmental problems using spatial analysis. Roshan is also trained in impact evaluation of conservation policies and programs.
